Specific services are provided based on quotes and agreements made
for individual projects.
3. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates are provided free of charge and are valid
for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer and
may be subject to change after a site visit.

Final pricing may be adjusted based on actual site conditions
discovered during work.

A signed agreement or deposit may be required before work begins.
4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements
have been made in writing.
- We accept cash, check, and electronic bank transfers.

For larger projects, a deposit of 25-50% may be required upfront.

Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month.

Customer is responsible for any collection costs, including
reasonable attorney fees.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the
scheduled start date.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled work may be
subject to a cancellation fee of $200.

We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions,
equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
6. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:

Provide accurate information about your property and project
requirements
- Ensure clear access to the work site for equipment

Mark underground utilities, sprinklers, or other hidden hazards
before work begins

Obtain necessary permits if required (we can assist with this
process)

Inform neighbors if necessary due to noise or equipment access
- Remove personal property from the work area
7. Scope of Work and Changes

Work will be performed as described in the agreed-upon scope of
work.

Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing
before implementation.

Additional work not included in the original scope will be quoted
separately.

Customer must report any concerns within 24 hours of work
completion.
8. Warranty and Guarantees

We warrant that all work will be performed in a professional and
workmanlike manner.

Completed clearing work is guaranteed for 30 days against material
defects.
-
Natural regeneration of vegetation is not covered under warranty.

Site conditions beyond our control (weather, flooding, etc.) are
not covered.

Customer is responsible for ongoing site maintenance after project
completion.
9. Damage and Liability

Customer acknowledges that land clearing involves inherent risks.

We maintain liability insurance; however, we are not responsible
for damage to unmarked underground utilities.

Customer must mark all underground hazards before work begins.
- Our liability is limited to the value of services provided.

We are not responsible for damage caused by third parties or
natural events.
10. Environmental Considerations

We use forestry mulching methods that are environmentally
responsible.
- Mulched material remains on-site unless otherwise arranged.

Customer is responsible for proper disposal of any hazardous
materials found on-site.

We comply with all local, provincial, and federal environmental
regulations.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and
images, is the property of The Goat Land Clearing And Excavation or
its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws.
12. Website Use
By using our website, you agree to:
